Armstrong Offers Integrated Ceiling and Wall Transitions Using Standard Components

New capability can be used for 90◦ angled or curved designs, and is available on ten different Armstrong product lines

Armstrong Ceiling & Wall Systems now offers the ability to create continuous, integrated transitions between ceilings and walls using standard components. The new capability can be used for 90◦ angled or curved designs, and is available on ten Armstrong product lines, including WoodWorks® Linear, WoodWorks Grille, WoodWorks Vector®, WoodWorks Channeled, WoodWorks Walls, MetalWorks™ Linear, Infusions® Lay-in, Infusions Walls, SoundScapes® Shapes, and SoundSoak® Walls. A wide variety of custom options are also available.

All of the elements needed to install the integrated walls and ceilings are provided by Armstrong to ensure a successful application. This includes the ceiling and wall panels, accessories, and installation hardware as well as technical support.

No Need to Compromise Performance

The ability to create seamless transitions between ceilings and walls provides the opportunity to achieve a desired look without compromising key acoustical or performance criteria required in the space.

Sound absorption with perforated metal and wood ceilings, for example, is attained through the use of acoustical infills behind the panels. A Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) up to 0.95 can be achieved for wood, 0.90 for fabric and textured scrim; 0.85 for metal.
