Structus Launches HYDROTRIM L Trim

Water-Activated Trim Delivers Fast, No-Mess Installations

Structus Building Technologies has officially launched its HYDROTRIM L Trim, adding another profile to the HYDROTRIM water-activated drywall corner line.

“Commercial contractors have been pushing us to get the HYDROTRIM L Trim into the market,” says Structus CEO Bill Scannell. “After almost a year of testing it on jobsites, we feel HYDROTRIM solves the issues contractors face when finishing exposed edges and reveals.”

Whether contractors use tape-on or tear-away L trim, the process of finishing exposed edges can be time-consuming and messy. Beta testing revealed that HYDROTRIM appeals to contractors because it requires only water for application, bonds absolutely to the drywall, and dries within 10-15 minutes. As a result, installations are quick and clean, and corners can be finished almost immediately.

HYDROTRIM L Trim corners are available in ½” and 5/8” profiles, in lengths of 10 feet. Other HYDROTRIM profiles include Outside 90 and Bullnose.
