The solid hem design on the bottom ground leg prevents moisture from penetrating the expansion joint, a common problem with #40 style expansion joint. The top leg is available with weep holes. The M-Slide is available in stock sizes. It also can be ordered with custom attachment leg lengths, ground depths, factory mitered and soldered inside/outside corners, and can be curved (consult factory for limitations).
